We were on the way to Thurso and been quite a bit hungry. So we decided to have a look at the harbour area.

Besides a Fish'n'Chips shop we spotted this place. Since we already had lots of fish lately we decided to give Wickers a go.

My wife went for a soup and I had the Chilli Cheese Burger with chips (fries). Since we were travelling with a dog we ordered the meal to-go and ate outside at the nice harbour.

The soup was nice, hot and filling. The Burger had a really good size with lots of cheese. Could have been a bit more melted though and bit too much sweet chilli sauce. But still a hearty, juicy Burger for a fair price.

It's a nice local restaurant with very friendly staff and a big menu. Surely a good choice if you are looking for a good down-to-earth meal.

Nice cafe by harbour. Would be a great place to visit in the summer watching all the yacht's and boats go by. They have a great selection of home cooked foods on the menu, and a daily specials board, they have a counter crammed with a selection of baking cooked in house. Highly recomend this place.

Good stop for lunch. They had a great orkney fudge cheesecake--more like mousse. Meals came very quick. Free wifi at location.
